On August 29, BW held a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation with two big customers: Shopee, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia & Taiwan, and BEST Inc., a leading smart logistics service provider in China that was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2017.
Consequently, BW is developing warehouses for Shopee and BEST Inc. in Ho Chi Minh City. This will be the first automated warehouse for BEST Inc. and the third fulfillment center for Shopee in Vietnam.
BW CEO Mr. C.K Tong stated, “With these two warehouses for Shopee and BEST Inc., BW is expecting to create a new concept for ‘smart logistics warehouses’ that integrates multiple elements such as location, design, automation and customer care to bring the best experience to its users. I believe that with this cooperation of three key players in industrial real estate, e-commerce and logistics, it is time to create new standards for the supply chain in Vietnam in order to meet the increasing demands of the consumer economy.”
