ESG is an integral part of our operation cycle and underpins every aspect of our culture, down to the partners with whom we choose to associate ourselves. It is the foundation on which our purpose and focus are built, with sustainability and the environment, people and our communities, and corporate governance and management placed at the core of everything we do.

We seek to meet global sustainability standards, ensuring each project is as safe as it is viable. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and equal environment for all individuals across every aspect of the business. Sustainability Highlights

BW is a leading for-rent logistics and industrial property developer in Vietnam. It has more than 9.95 million square meters of industrial land in prime locations under control across over 50 projects in 12 key provinces in Vietnam. BW integrates sustainability by pursuing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certifications for new developments, including LEED Gold for projects like BW Bac Ninh 2 Logistics Park, BW Thuan Dao Logistics Park, BW Xuyen A Industrial & Logistics Park Phase I & II, and BW Vinh Loc Industrial Park. The firm has also achieved LEED Silver certification for its BW Phu Nghia Logistics Park. Once projects are operational, BW typically evaluates opportunities in renewable energy and has piloted two projects for rooftop solar (BW My Phuoc 3 Industrial Hub and Tan Phu Trung 1 Logistics Park).

01 Environmental Due Diligence

We assess the land plot of each new project for potential environmental risks, i.e., contamination or liabilities. This is an essential first step in our decision-making process, whether it be for land acquisition or building purchase.

02 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

We ensure all new greenfield developments are environmentally sound and sustainable. Our EIA determines the environmental consequences of a given project prior to construction and the impact on the environment due to construction. Where the risk outweighs the benefit, the EIA allows us to examine alternative sites, plans, designs, and implementation through prevention, minimization, mitigation, or compensation to further impart positive impacts.

03 Decarbonization Application

We install solar LED streetlights for all new projects – weather-proof, water resistant, and longer life. This approach yields proven financial and environmental savings.

04 Green Certificate Application and Product Innovation

Adhering to the standards set out by green certifications, we plan and deliver projects in accordance with strict guidelines. BW remains ahead of the curve on product improvement and innovation, closely following clients’ requirements in conjunction with the country’s relevant codes and regulations.

05 HSE Execution Plan

BW’s HSE Management System has been carefully designed to protect our employees and visitors against all on-site injuries and incidents for under-construction projects. Zero incidents is our goal.

06 Core Values, Code of Conduct & Internal Compliance

Our internal policies are developed in accordance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Anti-Bribery Compliance Policy, Code of Ethics, and Whistleblower Policy, and are communicated to all of our staff through regular compliance training and e-learning programs. Our Compliance Officer ensures the company adheres to government regulations and acts in conformity with BW’s internal policies.

07 Work Environment

Dedicated to creating a diversified and equal work environment, BW continually creates self-development opportunities for all staff, in addition to such staff activities as sponsored language-learning programs.

08 COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign

June 27, 2021 – BW plays a crucial role at the Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park facility, in support of HCM City’s largest-ever COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

09 Donations toward Vaccines

July 19, 2021 – BW donates VND 1 billion to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Province in response to a call for public donations to buy vaccines.

10 Warehouse-Turned- Treatment Center

July 30, 2021 – BW and strategic partner ESR convert an 80,000 sqm ready-built warehouse in the My Phuoc 4 Industrial Park into a COVID-19 field treatment center in the wake of the evolving pandemic. With a capacity of 11,800 beds, the facility is one of the few field treatment centers in the country with the capacity to appropriately segregate and treat a range of COVID-19 patients, from asymptomatic to severe cases. Around 600 beds are equipped with ventilators that are connected to a central oxygen supply system.

11 PPE Donations

July 26, 2021 – BW donates 1,000 sets of PPE to Cu Chi and Thu Duc Hospitals to aid in the fight against COVID-19.

12 Donation towards Yagi typhoon recovery

BW has donated VND1 billion to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to aid local communities in recovery from typhoon Yagi in September 2024.

13 LEED Gold Certification pursuit

BW has pursued of LEED Gold certification for many projects in 2024, such as BW Xuyen A Logistics Park, BW Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Hub, BW VSIP Bac Ninh 2, BW Thuan Dao Logistics Park.
