Sustainability Highlights

In 2024 and 2025, we turned this commitment into action across our entire portfolio, expanding green building certifications and rooftop solar initiatives, strengthening environmental due diligence, raising workplace safety standards, deepening governance practices, and investing meaningfully in our communities. These efforts help us meet evolving regulations and investor expectations while creating long-term value for our customers, partners, communities, and stakeholders.

At the same time, we remain deeply committed to building high-quality workplaces, fostering an inclusive culture, and supporting the communities where we operate.

BW’s ESG Footprint

01 Sustainable operations

With close to 3 million sqm of rooftop area across 60 projects, BW is one of the largest rooftop space owners in Vietnam. We have successfully implemented two rooftop solar (RTS) pilot projects in the South and plan to progressively roll out installations across the portfolio. In March 2026, we signed an agreement with Vietnam-Singapore Smart Energy Solutions JSC (VSSES) to develop a 30 MWp rooftop solar system at BW Bau Bang Industrial Hub, with the potential to scale to more than 100 MWp over time.

02 Green Building Certifications

BW’s green building certification journey began in 2023 with the Phu Nghia project. Since then, 7 projects have achieved LEED certification, with 4 additional projects currently in progress. As of December 2025, approximately 1 million sqm of ready-built factories and warehouses - completed, under construction, or in pre-construction—have been designed to pursue green building certification, representing approximately 22% of BW’s 4.5 million sqm portfolio.

03 Building Stronger Communities: Our Social Impact Efforts

At BW, we focus our community investment efforts on education, environmental initiatives, and local community support. Our belief is simple: sustainable industrial growth should create long-term positive impact far beyond our industrial properties. In 2024-2025, BW contributed approximately vnd 1.9 billion across 9 community initiatives.

04 Environmental Due Diligence for All New Projects

At BW, we assess every new project for contamination risks and hidden liabilities through environmental due diligence. Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) ensure that every development plan is environmentally sound and sustainable. All 21 projects carried out in 2024/2025 conducted EIAs.

05 Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

BW’s HSE Management System is designed to protect employees, contractors, and visitors across all projects under construction. Regular HSE training programmers are conducted for contractors and supply-chain partners to promote consistent safety standards and regulatory compliance across all sites.

06 Core Values, Code of Conduct and Internal Compliance

Our policies and training reflect the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Anti-Bribery Compliance Policy, Code of Ethics, and Whistleblower Policy, and policies promoting a safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplace. A dedicated Compliance Officer ensures that every activity reinforces the integrity of our culture. All staff undergo compliance training and e-learning programs.

07 Work Environment

Despite industrial real estate being a male-dominated sector, 60% of our team is female and 50%(1) of department heads(2) are women.
