Accounting - Senior Manager – Accounting

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of companies and its daily accounting operations
- Participate in the ongoing development of accounting policies, systems, and procedures.
- Design, review, and maintain rolling short term cash flow forecasts across all entities.
- Optimize cash flow strategies, debt servicing setups, and profit repatriation mechanisms across corporate entities.
- Direct equity injection arrangement, dividend distributions, intercompany loans, and treasury cash pooling to optimize liquidity and debt service capabilities across the portfolio.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages prepared by team members.
- Design and execute overarching tax strategies across all operating companies, joint ventures etc.
- Structure complex land acquisitions, divestments, M&A deals, IPO, asset/equity injections, and cross-border capital transfers to optimize tax efficiency and minimize exposure.
- Oversee end-to-end statutory tax compliance (CIT, VAT, PIT, WHT, transfer pricing, land/property taxes…) and manage transfer pricing documentation across multi-entity portfolios.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with government tax authorities, handle tax audits, resolve complex tax disputes, and secure advance tax rulings.
- Establish and govern internal financial control frameworks, revenue recognition models, operational accounting policies, construction in progress (CIP) recognition standard across operating/developing projects.
- Act as the strategic tax advisor to the CFO and other relevant teams on deal pipelines, lease structures, and strategic joint ventures.
- Establish robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices to continuously identify, quantify, and mitigate tax and operational accounting risks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or equivalent.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- More than 10-year relevant experience.
- Real estate industry experience is essential.
- Experience on M&A and deal structuring is essential.
- Detailed and hands-on approach to work and strong project management skills.
- Understands details of relevant government regulations and policies.
- Able to explain complex matters well.
- Able to handle stress, tight deadlines and can manage multiple tasks at same time.
